Alebrije - Falcon & Camel - Emimex
"Emimex" is not a simple contraction, it is a pact, a shared soul.
The Story that Forged "Emimex":
Let me tell you the legend again, now with its true name. It is said that an ancient Emirati pearl diver, whose boat was swept away by a storm, found himself adrift under the relentless sun. Exhausted, he dreamed. He dreamed of a distant land of jungles and pyramids, where a shaman was carving the figure of an eagle out of wood. The shaman, in turn, dreamed of an endless desert where a man of the sea offered him a pearl that contained an ocean.
When they both awoke, the fisherman found in his hand an eagle feather with the colors of the sunset, and the shaman discovered a grain of desert sand that shone like a pearl. From that mystical connection, from that gift exchanged in the world of dreams, was born the mandate to create the being that would unite them. The spirit of "Emimex" was born.
His Body, the "Emimex" Manifesto:
-
The Falcon's Gaze: His face is that of the peregrine falcon, a bird revered both in the Arabian Desert and in the skies of Mexico. It is the gaze of "Emimex," a dual vision that appreciates the beauty of a skyscraper that defies the sun and that of a pyramid that honors the moon.
-
Camel's Strength: Its body embodies the patience and resilience that allowed the Emirati people to thrive in one of the most demanding climates. It is the same endurance as that of my people, who walk and build on a trembling earth. On its back, the sacred mantle is embroidered with the sun, the vital energy that distinguishes between the agave and the date palm.
-
The Wings of Encounter: Look at those wings! They are the "Emimex" manifesto in color. The deep blue and geometric patterns are a tribute to Islamic art, to the beauty of order and infinity. Above them, the reds, turquoises, and oranges of a Saltillo sarape burst forth, the explosion of life and passion of my culture. They are the wings that prove that two worlds can fly together, not just side by side, but as one.
-
Skin, a Dialogue Made Art: Each pattern is a word in the conversation between two majestic aesthetics. The designs of a spice souk intertwine with the flowers of an Oaxacan market. It's Kufic calligraphy transformed into Zapotec Greek. This is the soul of "Emimex": proof that beauty multiplies when it's shared.
Why "Emimex" is for you:
In a city like Dubai, which is itself a living "Emimex"—a melting pot where the world meets—this piece is not just decoration, it's an emblem.
Bringing "Emimex" into your home is a celebration of the very essence of cultural encounter. It's placing a guardian in your space that will remind you every day of the power that comes from unity, the beauty that emerges from diversity. It's a talisman for the traveler, for the dreamer, for the bridge builder.
You don't acquire a sculpture. You become the custodian of a legend, of a spirit that proclaims that no matter how vast the desert or ocean that separates us, we all share the same sky and the same desire to fly. "Emimex" is the celebration of that shared dream. It's for the soul that understands that home is not where you come from, but where all your parts can coexist in harmony.
